We continue to offer some lots from the marvelous estate of Keith Stupell; his lots are marked “ex-Stupell” and sprinkled throughout the sale; Expect much more in future auctions.

We begin on Tuesday, May 12th with a good variety of US covers w/ FX labels, Naval covers and more Dorothy Knapp FDCs. Our foreign covers are from a variety of countries, including Germany, Latvia and accumulations.

The US section has many plated 1851-57 1¢ Franklins and modern precancel coils. Look for a postally used Pan-American 1¢ Inverted Center (lot 258). We continue to offer material from a Ryukyu Islands specialized collection, including scarce Display Mihons and postal stationery.

US collections incl face value, ducks & other wildlife stamp collections, plus general accumulations. We offer a variety of Ephemera lots incl autographs and mystery lots.

As usual, we have worldwide singles, country lots, topicals & accumulations. The US section has many F Grill stamps and later plate blocks. We continue to offer material from a Ryukyu Islands specialized collection, including Election postal cards and Currency Conversion errors.

His focus was on all things Germany – postage stamps, proofs & essays, postal history, picture postcards, poster stamps & ephemera. Besides regular mint stamp collections, his topical focus was on German history & culture, the Colonies, and the history of both World Wars, from the turbulent times leading up to each, wartime occupations and liberations, and post-war conditions.

Our Coin & Currency Sale #44 offers collectors a nice selection of early copper and Certified better-date Lincoln Cents including a 1914-S MS64. Also of note is the continuation of offerings of Bust Halves consigned by a St. Louis collector. As usual, there are items from just about all series. The highlights of this auction include a complete set of Certified Recalled 1941 Panama paper currency and an 1897 Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Gold Medal with AGW of 2.74 ozt (mintage of 3,725).

This sale offers collectors a nice selection of certified better-date Lincoln Cents (including an uncertified 1955 Double Die) most coming from a prominent Delaware collection.  Also important is continuation of offerings of Bust Halves consigned by a St. Louis collector. Seated Quarters are well-represented from a recent New Jersey purchase.  Per the norm, a wide range of silver and gold bullion items are in the sale, as well as a wide range of Morgan Dollars.  A number of offset transfer errors highlight the small-size currency section, and spicing up the worldwide offerings is a broad selection of Notgeld (mostly German.)  As usual, something for everyone!
