Sale #29 has a wide array of numismatic items that include better date and/or better condition material in almost all series Half Cents through Silver Dollars. Highlights are a 1793 Liberty Cap Half Cent (FR-2), 1793 Chain Cent (FR-2), 1793 Wreath Cent (VG-Details), 1877 Indian Cent (VF), Half Dimes of 1795 and 1803, 1871-CC Seated Dime, and an 1877 Trade Dollar in NGC MS61. A large gold coin offering includes some rare pieces from the Charlotte, Carson City and New Orleans Mints including an 1844-C Quarter Eagle, 1813 Half Eagle, and an 1874-CC Double Eagle. As with all of our auction sales, there is something here for every type of collector.

Our Auction #346, May 16-18, is filled with interesting lots of all kinds. Among the stampless covers is a sea captain’s correspondence of 22 letters. A special Ukraine cover to raise money for is one of the highlights. There is also a very large group of about 6000 submarine covers. As usual our cover section is filled with desirable collections and accumulations. Tibet covers can be scarce and we have some!

Our U.S. section has many nice high quality and desirable stamps along with a host of accumulations and collections. Again this auction we feature a very strong section of Official and Revenue multiples. How about the plate proof of O71P3?

It is springtime and we have many nice baseball card lots as well as other sports cards and collectibles.

Sale #27 contains an exceptionally nice run of high-grade Indian Cents in addition to our usual wide variety of type coins and sets that include, in particular, an 1846 “6 over horizontal 6” Seated Half Dollar in AU grade. Gold offerings are substantial and offer an 1874 $3 Princess, (3) scarce $5 Liberties including an 1871-S NGC XF40, (4) $10 gold including 1845-O PCGS AU50, and 1868 NGC XF40, and (5) $20 Double Eagles, one of which is an 1857-S PCGS XF45. We have a very strong selection of U.S. and worldwide covers including a CSA #1 on interesting tax document. There is also a nice collection of Duck stamps on cover. In the worldwide covers there are some very attractive covers from the Faroe Islands.
