We are pleased to announce our 8th Showcase Sale to be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 4 pm at our office in Wilmington, DE. The focus of this auction is numismatics. We offer 317 lots with the majority of the sale coming from the collection of Frederick Bonaccorsi.

Here you will find an excellent selection of higher grade US type coins among other collector favorites.  Most series are very well represented including these highlights: an 1864 2¢ Small Motto variety in PCGS MS64 Red-Brown CAC-Approved, several nice Barber Quarters, an 1807 Draped Bust Half (PCGS VF25), a 1797 Stars Bust $1 Fine, (2) seldom offered original Morgan $1 rolls (1885 & 1904-O), plus a 74-piece US Type Set.  The gold offerings include an 1878 $3 Princess and an 1834 Classic Head $5.  There are also some nice examples of Large Size US Currency including an 1890 ornate back $2 Treasury Note.  Surely something for everyone in this sale! Our September auction is packed with singles and large lots across all areas. In our cover section we have nice groups of ship covers, U.S. stampless, advertising and FDCs. The highlight of the cover section is the “Elliott Lewis Naval Cover Collection!” A lifetime collection very well presented. Our worldwide cover collection is also strong with many Zeppelin lots, much Germany, a large accumulation of Japan and two lots of worldwide, each with thousands of covers.

The Americana section features two especially nice large lots of autographs. We are pleased to describe our May sale as one full of interesting and valuable singles, sets and collections. Our cover section has a very nice group of Missouri covers with plenty of history. There are also naval, railroad, space, Zeppelins, accumulations of U.S. and WW covers, and many FDC lots.

The U.S. stamp section features some nice #1’s, 12, 27, 70c, 77, 262, 263, 313, 505 and much BOB including Revenue & Vending stamps. There are many large accumulations and collections, and also a wonderful group of Match and Medicine stamps.

Quality and Quantity – our July sale has both! Our cover section includes a very strong group of First Flights and a lifetime collection of Submarine Mail. There are many other U.S. and WW cover lots including topicals, Zeppelins and FDCs. There is also an excellent selection of postcards.

Our U.S. singles section contains a nice #143 unused with certificate, 537a, 557a and 562b. We also have over 200 lots of U.S. collections, accumulations and large lots.

Our coin section features a strong group of Indian cents, a nice 1944 Double Die Lincoln cent and an extensive collection of Roman Empire ancient coins.

The worldwide section features a very strong group of Bosniak (Muslim Government) in quantities and another very strong China selection.
